Sales Refund FAQ


+1. How do refunds work?

Refunds are payment(s) that are returned to the customer as requested by merchant(s). When a merchant requests for a refund, Webcash will process this request and credit the amount into your Webcash Wallet.

+2. Where will my cash be refunded to?

All refunds will be refunded to your Webcash Wallet.

+3. What if I do not have a Webcash Wallet?

A Webcash Wallet is automatically created for you upon successful purchase on our payment gateway with all our merchants, and is attached to your email address. If you would haven’t activated your Wallet, you can activate it here. If you have but have forgotten your password, you can change your password here.

+4. Will there be any charges for my refund?

Refunds made to your Webcash Wallet do not incur any charges. However if a special refund is requested to your bank account, then the respective bank charges will apply.

+5. Who approves my refund?

Refunds are approved and submitted to Webcash by the merchant(s) based on their individual refund policies.

+6. I got an email saying that my transaction failed. What do I do next?

In the case of a failed transaction, please re-purchase your order. If the payment was deducted by your bank via Internet Banking, it should be refunded by them to your bank account. If the payment deducted gets forwarded to Webcash, we will proceed to refund to your Webcash Wallet within 1 working day.

+7. How long will refunds take?

Refunds will be processed to your Webcash Wallet within 1 working day. If a special refund is requested to your bank account, we will then transfer the refund to your bank account via MEPS-IBG direct debit service. This will take 1 - 3 working days to complete the refund to your bank account and bank charges will apply.
