Merchant FAQ


+01. What are the requirements to become a WEBCASH® merchant?

It is open to all businesses allowing electronic transactions on their websites.

The following conditions apply:
Private Limited Companies / Sole Proprietor and Partnership

    Registered with Companies Commission of Malaysia
    - Nature of business is legal.

+02. What are the documents required for application?

Private Limited Companies

    - KYC Form
    - Form 9, Form 24, Form 49 (Certified True Copy)
    - Company profile
    - Product/Services Brochure
Sole Proprietor and Partnership
    - KYC Form
    - Certificate of Incorporation (Certified True Copy)
    - Form D (Certified True Copy)
    - Company Profile
    - Product/Services Brochure
    - Copy of director's IC.

* All document(s) submitted has to be in Hardcopy form; either mailed or hand delivered to Webonline.

+03. What if I have a website which is not e-commerce enabled?

To make purchases via WEBCASH® you must have a website that allows people to buy goods from you electronically. If that is not possible on your website right now, we can assist you with the necessary changes for a nominal fee. We can also advise you on what needs to be done so that you can have the changes made by your regular support team.

+04. How long does it take to process my application for WEBCASH®?

14 working days upon receiving the complete set of documentations.

+05. Can I use any bank account to receive payment?

Although WOL recommends CIMB bank, yes you can use other banks but the bank charges shall be borne by Merchant.

+06. What happens after my application is approved?

Once the application is approved, Webonline Dot Com will contact you directly and provide the following:

    - Merchant Agreement
    - System Integration Manual

+07. How does my e-commerce application integrate with WEBCASH®?

The integration is achieved by using PHP via a secure SSL channel to the WEBCASH® server.
